    Re: Zamp Helmets

I did some research and they have connections to Bell helmets. Supposedly made in the same factory. I just ordered one and should have it here this week.

      Re: Zamp Helmets

As a helmet painter I see a lot of helmets...

I haven't done a Zamp, but I have seen 1 or 2 in my travels.

I wasn't overly impressed with them in terms of materials and build quality.

But that said, the last one I saw was several years ago.

However, they do all have to certify to the same requirements.

I've been using a zamp helmet for about 3 years now. Nice and comfortable. No issues and would buy again.

          Hi,

I have been stocking and selling ZAmp helmets for over 10 years.
They are produced in China- the same factory that does Bell Europe helmets and other brands. It is a nice helmet for the money and they have evolved well over the years.
They have an aggressive price point and that is their best selling point.

They remain a Chinese made helmet and in the end, you get what you pay for.

Got my helmet in the other day. Pretty impressed. Looks good, light. Only downfall is that the sizes are smaller than you'd think. I bought a medium thinking it would be slightly large to fit my balaclava, but its snug. Should be ok. Also a little bit of a pain to get the Hans anchors into the helmet. just very tight and hard to reach. Other than that it seems like a good helmet.
