    June 24th Update

The City of Barrie has decided to extend the cancellations of all events until at least September 8th. This effectively cancels our season as we will not be able to host events at Sadlon Arena this year.

    June 16th Update

All remaining 2020 events are to be considered cancelled until we make an announcement stating otherwise.

The City of Barrie, who we rent the Sadlon Arena parking lot from, has said that we must get approval from the local health unit before they will issue an event permit. We have been in contact with the health unit, and they stated that they are "not in a position to be approving ANY special event applications now or for future dates given that amendments to the province’s emergency orders are unknown." We followed up, and the primary factor in their position is that the limit for public and social gatherings is 10.

Unless the SMDHU changes their position, or the Ontario government significantly increases the limit, we will not be hosting an event.

TLMC will be hosting our autoslalom championship series at a new venue for 2020 - the Sadlon Arena! Actually, it's the same venue with a new name.

Our championship is a battle to determine the fastest driver in each class family, as well as the fastest novice. Points are awarded to club members at each event, and your best five scores are counted toward the championship. Our novice championship counts the best four scores, and is scored against other novices. JOIN US for your chance to prove that you're the fastest in the north!

NOTE: Snell 2015 M, 2010 M or ECE R22.05 rated helmets are not acceptable for vehicles equipped with a roll cage.
These drivers require a helmet which meets one of the FIA, Snell SA or SFI standards listed above.

Schedule updated to indicate that our May 10th & 31st events are cancelled...for obvious reasons.

As with everything right now, it is unknown when our events will be able to proceed (if at all) this year. Even if things improve and the restrictions on social gatherings are relaxed, we will not host an event until there is no restriction on the number of people allowed to attend.

The City of Barrie is extending the closure of Community Centres until at least June 30. All theatre shows, bookings of sports fields, and events are also cancelled until June 30.
