When I saw th Cortina location I thought they were going to repeat the Ford Cortina stunt that Jim Clark did to introduce the Cortina.

Drive it down the bob sled run, that would have been exciting.

They could have driven up it, turning it into a Ice Hill Climb.

dont think it matters....they spend more on their catered dinners for one weekend than all of us spend on racing the whole season- combined.

Man what a life, playing with Ferraris on ice all day, the finest caviar for dinner, and an "apres ski" filled with all colours of pills and powders....

But in answer to your question, sawzall about 1000 pounds out of the pig and it would be there!!

I only know of one Ice Racer that could potentially afford such an ice toy... (think we all know who that is)

And I know of another Ice Racer that would actually drive one in Minden... but he can't afford one... and he just posted in this thread right above!

Besides... isn't that more of an SS type tire? lol
18" pirelli ice tires... no thanks!

Those cars do need 1000 lbs out of them... and more mechanical grip... those engines don't give me wood in the 2-5000 rpm range like they do in the 6-8000 rpm range!

So I think the verdict is you're fibbing about prepping a Ferrari for ice racing Steve.

Anyways, how could you leave class 4 so ceremoniously!?

I'm surprised that no one has commented on the name of the instructor identified in the video ... Vittorio Brambilla!

Now, I know that the original Monza Gorilla passed away some years ago - wonder if this is his son? Couldn't google anything that confirmed or denied it though.

I wouldn't mind adding some of that red paint to my car.

Ice racing has the longest Silly Season of any CASC discipline... Expect BS for the next nine months.

I have a passion for RWD though... If Opal's Bimmer was in worse shape and selling for under $600....
