Nice report scotty, I wondered why Gianni was racing on the saturday!
Kind of neat to see what a front drive specialist could do in a rear wheel car , I know you have rear drive summers but... Awesome work on the Scottymobile Gianni !!
Wonder what You're running next season in studs ...???
Ice Racing will always be a Black art! So ... In order to finish first, ... first you must Finish!

Quote: << Gianni ran the Silver Bullet Sunday in class 1 rubber-to-ice and put on quite a show. I haven't seen that many loops since Major Lew MacKenzie drove our old Ovlov wagoon a few years ago. The first race Sunday Gianni had Steff Haas as passenger - bad idea. Steff likes to play with the fuel pump switch in that car when he's passenger and some times he will pull on the emergency brake just when you have the car sideways in a full opposite lock drift. As a result Gianni experienced just about every type of screw up scenario possible although he did say he likened the fuel pump off position to traction control as it stopped the rear wheels from spinning and allowed them to get a grip. The steward even came down to find out what was going on.>>
I am sure this seems quite funny to you, but this behaviour resulted in ENORMOUS damage to our car when he accelerated sideways AT IT while he was being lapped for the 2nd time. It is bad enough if he did that from lack of even basic ability to control a car, but to now find out that he was letting a passenger cause this ON PURPOSE is appalling. Perhaps you also noticed that he caused a 5 car pileup in the cooldown lap doing this as well? Rather than presenting this as humourous, you should be pressing him to apologize.
So why did you start on the 2nd row when you didn't run on saturday?
I started at the back Sunday in the first Stud race ....
Quote: "In the first race I was gridded last of course but finished first in class and 4th overall behind Lee Watterworth's Honda Civic."
In the second race Sunday I started 4th over all (2nd row) ...

Hey I just report what I see, and that was from my vantage point at the far east end of the track where not all the track is visible. As a spectator I was neither condoning nor condemning the action on track just reporting what I saw. I was not driving the car, as the offended party you should always speak directly to the driver.
