Swapped 2.2 - Overrevving

issue found.
was a kinked throttle cable - all is good !!!



i've swapped a 2002, 2.2 from one ice racer to another.
Motor starts, but goes immediately to redline .
It appears i've got everything plugged in correctly, the throttle cable at rest keeps the butterfly closed.
Exhaust is on enough to plug in the O2 sensors.
This engine ran great b4 i swapped it

Suggestions?

Check for some kind of major air leak downstream of the throttle plate

Yeah - sounds like a massive vacuum leak. Check for a missing line somewhere on the intake.

I've checked every freakin' line i can find. OBDII says low voltage on idle sensor. Swapped it out from other car, same issue . . . .
It's about to go to my boys at Precision Tune . . . . .

it's off to the mechanic . . . .
