The Action Front Data Recovery 8 lap shootout will take place at the end of each Saturday. The top three finishers of each rubber to ice class are qualified to enter and the top three from the AFDR Shootout will receive trophies on the podium at the end of the race.

I will time them as no one else has, the first day. I suspect they will start just in front on the start/finish line. They will be on the lead lap but at the back. All times will be taken that day and the grid set accordingly.

And no it's not the Bud Shootout as Budweiser said no because everyone drinks Molsons at the Rockcliffe.

Also the qualifiers are still 10 laps but races last year were reduced to 12 laps for 2005. This should help.

I have not known the top racers in their division to be demolition experts. I wouldn't worry about entering Andy, you have to finish in the top 3.

The rwd guys would worry me the most,not because their animals(well maybe a couple of 'em-jkg of course)but because of the differences in lines,speeds in different parts of the same corner etc can make things interesting.
