I have a Snell 95M helmet I use for solo2 racing.
Is this good enough for rubber to ice?
The Ice Racing 2005 Regulations specify these requirements for Helmets:
Page8 Section 3.0
"All drivers and passengers shall use a helmet conforming to:
i) Snell 90M & SA
ii) Snell 95M & SA
i) Snell 2000M & SA"
http://www.casc.on.ca/documents/iceraceregs05.pdf
According to the solo2 regulations Snell SA rated helmets are required for cars with roll cages. I know these helmets cost alot more then the regular motocycle type Snell M rated helmets we solo2 guys use.
Is a Snell SA rated helmet required for ice racing without a cage in the rubber to ice classes?
