In cases of intermittent rain it would be better to take a variance from each session and do average variance.

Trouble is, someone who knows they're going to win their class can do one lap per session and have a variance of 0.00. So you'd have to incorporate a min of 3 timed runs check in the software or else it defaults to a 5 or something for that session. This would stress mechanical reliability and driver skill.

It just seems like a simple way to get more useful information out of the existing system. Doesn't affect scoring or ruleset in any way. As far as proposals and discussions, I take pity on the CCC. They've got lots to mull over this year.

crazy fast time for John in the Jetta if he is really GT2......
hard to follow the results, I guess weather played a factor even within classes.

It's a mistake ... John A was not even at the event :-)

Geez, had it not been for that bloody wheel hop and subsequent "meeting" with the tire will, I actually would have pulled off a 5th-place finish in SGT3!! That would be a "first" . But, alas, no such luck . Better luck next year...

... and I promise not to wash & wax the car the day before ANY event again ... sorry about the rain .

Did anyone notice....I actually finished with no mechanical issues.....That has nt happened in awhile. Just my 2 cents
