Does your '96 come with the LSD, or traction control? They changed it up half way through the model year.

Good question, only had the car for a little more than a week so I will have to look into that! If there is in fact an LSD already in there, its not doing its job very well . Definately no traction control.

Looks like the car could have come with no LSD nor traction control. The LSD was an option until the traction control became standard part-way through the model year.

Adding the M3 LSD was just about the best mod I made to my '98 328is.

I have a 3.15 LSD to put in still This car is superior to my golf in every way, I love it!

I have a 1985 Mustang with the 5.0L v8. it is the last year with the carb so different from any newer ones on the list that have EFI. I'm wondering how this would differ from the other fox mustangs currently classified?

Also, my car is one of the few original Saleen Mustangs, so it was modified by Saleen Autosport in 1985 but I believe still considered factory. It has upgraded shocks and springs plus the aero pieces (airdam, side skirts, wing and headlight covers). I understand that I need to take PIPs on any non-saleen mods that I have done to the car, but how are the original Saleen modifications handled in the CASC classification system?

In 1986 Saleen raced these cars in the Showroom Stock class against "regular" mustangs without penalty - does that still apply today??

Hey Matt,

We will class the car as a Saleen. While we discuss, for reference, I'd expect a 5-10% bump in the susp index for your car over the 87-93 Mustang.

We will class the car as a Saleen. While we discuss, for reference, I'd expect a 5-10% bump in the susp index for your car over the 87-93 Mustang.

thanks Andy, keep me posted. and what about the power vs the 87-93? the base 1985 with the carb was down on hp vs the EFI 87-93 HO cars. I think in the neighbourhood of 180hp in 1985 vs 210hp (87-88) and 225 (89-93).

Is the '05 the same as the '06? If so, use the '05. If there was a redesign or mechanical change, we'll have to rate the car again.

2006 JCW was rated for 207 HP. 2005 was listed as 200 in your dbase. LSD was an option, not standard. Those are the primary differences... Mine also has 17" wheels, which was an option. Not sure what else is relevant to list...

I'm requesting a car classification for:

1994 Mazda Eunos Roadster (Miata)

It is a right-hand-drive import. The car is essentially the same as any North American R-Package Miata in terms of specs, so I would believe T1 is appropriate.
