When the event was upgraded to Nationals status, it enabled us to have a BBQ supper. It will be at Murphy's Landing Irish Pub (right beside the Calabogie Motor Inn) Saturday night.

Not as fancy as last year. I've budgeted for some seconds this time, but NOT be all-you-can-eat.

Just FYI, on tap (cash bar, no free beer):
        Kieth's
        Kieth's Red
        Stella
        Murphy's Stout (like Guinness)
        Bud Light

There will also be a crew coming in to cook lunch at the track. However, you will have to buy your lunch, menu to be posted when I get it. (If we have sufficient funds, the event will buy lunch. That's a big IF.)

There will be no free beer at the banquet for sure.

However, in over 20 years, there has only been one event that I've organized that didn't have beer appear at the end of the event. (That was last year's SoloSprint, as we were nowhere near breaking even.)

What days are covered for lunch and dinner as I will be there Fri, Sat and Sun. And is there food nearby for breakfast? So I can plan what, if any food I need to bring along.

There are restaurants in Calabogie, no McD's or fast food places.

                  Friday:
-You buy breakfast where-ever you want. There's a little place right in the town of Calabogie that is/was open really early. You can buy coffee/pop/snacks at the track.
-BBQ Lunch will be served at the track, you buy.
                  -Dinner, you're on your own.

                  Saturday:
-You buy breakfast where-ever you want.
-BBQ Lunch will be served at the track, you buy.
-Banquet (BBQ) at Murphy's Landing, free for competitors and full-time volunteers (min. two shifts per day). There will be a driver in a minivan available to ferry people back to their accommodation (in the Calabogie area). We do not want any drunk driving! (Pick up your car the next morning.)

                  Sunday:
You buy breakfast where-ever you want.
BBQ Lunch will be served at the track, you buy.
You're on your own for supper too.

We will have complimentary bottled water at the track all three days.

Thanks for the details... one last question... after the Murphy's bbq, can I get back INTO the track, and can I get in via the minivan shuttle?

                    Thanks!

Yes and yes - but note that the shuttle is not taking people to Murphy's Landing (unlike last year). I'll have the gate key and I'm camping at the track.

You might (might) have to wait until I get back to the track ... just waiting to here back from the track.

Wasn't there a Stinson's with 94 gas that was open really early for breakfast or am I thinking of some other event I was in?

Yes, plus there's a place in town (was closed last year) that has a nice breakfast (well, I liked it. )
