Not sure if I agree with that. Solosprint is supposed to be grassroots. Going to stock suspension is cheap, but adding the same amount of pips for power is not cheap. If you don't mind competing in a lower class, that idea works but if you are competing for your class win, that idea blows.

It would appear that this forum has lost its original focus.

Maybe I can clear this up by simply saying that there will no CSC event in 2011 hosted by an Ontario club.

However, we may have something in the works that you will find extremely interesting. Sometime in the near future I will post the details but for now you will just have to wait while a few of us iron out those details.

Should we interpret that if the details get ironed out there will still be a CSC event in 2011, but it will hosted by some other organization?

I guess you were using the wrong street tires then.....

This bickering about the rules needs to stop. A true racer works within the rules to make the most of his/her situation.

If the street tire rule works for YOUR CAR, use street tires

If you want to compete in a certain class prep your car to that class.

According to Adam's suggsetion about putting your suspension to stock, great idea!
run streets at all the other events, then Ubers at MIR with less suspension pips, you stay in the same class but maximize your car!

                BUT STOP THE BICKERING!!!

This is supposed to be fun, there is no million dollar sponsorship awaiting us.

So use the rules to your advantage and go have fun.

This will bring out more people who wan to have fun. This bickering on an open forum will turn away any potential new people.

Solosprint is fun, lets put that message across
