Not a typo. Refer to FIA Standards:

I have an 89 civic that I havent had out yet to test but have a question when it is ready to go.The top bars of the cage or the roof hoop has had exstensions put on them. What I mean is whoever instaled the cage did not make it long enough to go from the top of the windshield to the main hoop so they added about two or three inch pieces on both sides. They did a good job welding it but I wanted to know if this would be legal?I also installed a 5 point harness that is out of date. When I installed it I thought that solo sprint allowed out of date harnesses. Is this harness no good?

Expired belts are not allowed, they must meet FIA or SFI standards respectively.

Rule book only specifies that the main hoop has to be one continuous piece. Whether your cage is considered a roll bar (i.e. 4pt) or roll cage, will likely be up to the scrutineer. I can only assume that if it is well manufactured, it should qualify for the -2PIP since cages with bolted joints are also allowed.

Expired belts are not allowed, they must meet FIA or SFI standards respectively.
Well...we won't tell you to take them off, as long as you have the OE belts still in there since they will not be expired (as long as they're in good condition).

I see you are in London. If your belts are Leaf they will reweb them for you.
