well, they are fast, but not fast enough since they did not actually finish first

and the RX8 is actually Gary Wood's car that he's been tuning for a number of years.

somewhat disheartening to see that scoring a sub 93 sec run in sgt2 class (and so close to an overall track record) gets one a 3rd place overall...

Unfortunately, PAX ain't perfect . However, based on the old system, there were some inconsistancies of a similar nature that made the overall results look even more skewed in certain circumstances (again, "fast" cars scoring very low, relative to other cars, even though they may have been 2nd or 3rd in class and 2nd or 3rd "fastest" car).

I agree that Corvettes should always win!

We could "adjust" PAX to eliminate all classes below GT1....

Lloyd I think that middle pedal is getting in your way.

Brilliant suggestion Lloyd! It would also eliminate a mysterious ability for some GTx cars to pull away from SGT2 cars on a straight after a slow turn...LOL!!!!

isn't there a way to view your competitors approved class submissions?

At an event you can request to see a competitor's classification. The CCC will not give them out.

and WHY not make it avaliable on the dbase for its members?
after all, we follow a system which is based 100% on trust and honour, with zero checks or verifications of any kind. so i dont think anyone would go as far as to "confront" somebody in person...i think that would be totally out of place and character of the series? at the same time, i really see no reason why we shouldnt be able to check each other's submissions - whats the risk/downside here? a curious newbie learning the lay of the land of OTA

Took a kicking from the CCC for picking the right tires last year.

Spent some PIPs on SG Motorsport headers and a tune to get back to stock horsepower rating, add some noise and get a little respect.

Shaved a few pounds; added stiffer swaybars.
