Gary is exactly right,he's got the advantage of age helping out his patience...most of us more youthful competitors suffer from over aggression.
Normally I suggest going right to SS for rookies to skip over the sometimes frustratingly variable conditions in rubber.
However given that SS has lost the stability it once enjoyed with a single tire/tire builder for the series I suggest going into the rubber ranks for this yr.Myself and others are working hard to come up with a tire combo that works for everyone....or at least narrow it down to maybe 3 choices for the coming seasons.
