no, our rulebook doesn't specifically requires a parking brake. As long as you're trailering the car to the track, you should be fine (since I think street cars are required to have a parking brake by law).

If you car is street driven, it should meet the Laws of the Highway Traffic Act.
They can come in handy, a buddy of mine had huge brake fade at a lapping day and used his E-brake to help slow him down enough to miss the wall.
Don’t ever use it right after a track run though, good way to crack a rotor.
