What does 20km/h slower mean ... 275? I look forward to putting on the hurt (have you got your Hoosiers yet? )

      Hey! Hit those apexes!

Will you be doing some SoloSprint again this year?

        Re: Mustang is ready!!

The Hoosiers is on! I ran the Cobra in full Solo spec , SGT2 that is - stock boost & ECU setup, for at least 10 hot laps at a time and she was holding up a lot better than last year.

I would like to retard the timing to around 19-20 if I can for my EGT's was still a little on the high side. I believe stock is around 22-23. What do you guys think, will I be able to "downgrade" my ECU to be more on the safe side? I quess I will loose atleast 15HP by doing that.

With all the extra downforce and the Hoosiers it took me a few laps to get used to her but, once the tires got up to temps she was lot easier to drive.

Can not wait to get that M3 on the track!!

As for hitting those apexes... I am still working on turn 2 and 10
So far my plans are to run Shannonville, TMP and Mosport Grand Prix.

wOOt! wOOt! Be fun seeing that flying banana out this year. Glad you got some of those issues sorted out. Hey, and don't forget to bring the chicken wings to Mosport. Wouldn't be the same without them!

Yes, please detune. Please? I guess that you'll need a dyno plot then to avoid taking positive PIP's for adjusting your boost.

What did you do to lose backstraight speed? Add downforce?

That... and returning to stock boost, so no need to worry about PIPs.

Car looks great Riaan! It will be interesting to see how the reduced power & increased downforce trade-offs affect the overall lap times.

You got it Miles, those hot wings are the best!

This year I am running a stock 3.500 dia supercharger pulley vs last year's 3.400 upper that made around 10psi plus a lot more downforce as you can see in the pic

                Thanks Chris, time will tell...

Looks like Cobra R stuff to me.

Too bad it won't fit my '97.

Thanks, the front is from Steeda and the rear is Cobra R with my own custom end plates...

Love the front lip and wing, Riaan. I think you're very wise to go back to stock boost and make up for it with more grip. I bet you'll be even faster this year. Scary stuff!

BTW, is the Viper your wife's car?
