  • On-Line Car Classification Submissions

    Hey all,

Yesterday I sent out an e-mail to all registered users of the on-line Car Classification DB. This was just a reminder to review and submit your classification before the June 10 event at SMP. If you have already submitted your classification, please ignore the e-mail, and thanks. If you have not yet done so, please take the time to do it before the event so we can make the registration process as smooth at possible at the track. Also, those who have not yet registered their car in the classification database, please do so as soon as you can. If you need any help with the process, or if your base car is not listed, let me know and I'll be glad to help.

Please note that by "submit" I mean that you must click on the "Submit to CCC" button during step 3 of the PIP Schedule (or when reviewing it), not just saving you schedule. This is required since the system allows multiple PIP Schedules for the same car, and as a result we need a way to identify which PIP Schedule you want to use as your official submission.

Thanks, and we'll see you all on June 10th!

Should Todd and I BOTH submit classifications? Or just one of us?
    (Same car, different drivers...)

Whatever is easier for you guys...

If you made a change, then the latest one will be used (assuming you jsut changed some stuff on the original). If you created a whole new PIP schedule, then you have to make sure to "submit it to the CCC" at the end. Since you can only submit 1 at a time (all previous PIP Schedules will become "un-submitted"), we'll use the one you submitted last, so make sure it's the correct one

Is this acceptable for a dyno plot submission for classification? It was done today:

Time from 1st to 3rd run; 6 mins (see description at the bottom of the scan)

Wow... V8 torque curve. Well, lack of curve. Like flat.

Okay, I've logged onto the site and registered. However, I don't know where to start with the PiPs schedule. Is there a list somewhere I can refer to?

Had a little help from Arek, that list is kinda confusing..But I finished it! yeaaa!

Yeah, I'd rename that line to be "Profile Filename" or something straight forward. When I saw the word "PiP name" I immediately panicked...

It's less confusing if you read the complete rule book The list on the site is just the PIPable rules ... there is sections on free stuff and such in the actual rule book.
