4) All cars must be classified to compete before registration is complete. If you car requires classification please bring information about your car (i.e. your car’s curb weight, manufacturer’s listed horsepower and any modifications to your car). Classification committee members, Arek Wojciechowski, James Mewett, Adam Hutchinson, Chris Paczynski will be available on Friday and Saturday evenings, and at Registration in the morning of the events to classify your cars prior to registration.
5) All cars are required to display the designated sponsor decals including the weekend sponsor – GRISDALE RACING PRODUCTS
6) Morning, Lunch and End of day lapping times may be adjusted according to time limitations
7) Passing is allowed during lapping between corner 1 and 2, and on the front straight (passing areas will identified by cones beside the track). The car being passed must signal the following car to pass. All passes must be done on the right side of the car being passed.
8) For the morning lapping session each day a best effort will be made to provide each competitor with at least one practice session. Competitors who have been on the track once or more during the morning lapping session will be gridded in a second line in the middle of the grid. Cars from this line will only be allowed on the track if there are no cars in the first line in the grid area along the race track wall.
9) NOTICE: To discourage competitors from cutting the curbing and dragging stones on to the track, pylons will be placed ON the stones (abutting the curbing) at the apexes. 11) Marshall Safety: Marshalls should never be sitting down. A lone marshall should never turn his/her back to a car. If a station has only two marshals and both directions need to be watched, then the marshalls should stand in such a way that the marshall with his back to the traffic can be instantly alerted by the other marshall. (ie. they stand back to back or side by side)
12) Caution to Drivers: In the event that there is an object (for example, a pylon) lying on the track obstructing the racing line, under no circumstances should a driver stop and get out of his car to move the object.
13) The governing regulations for this event will be as stated in the 2006 Ontario Solo 1 Regulations rulebook.
14) Additional supplementary regulations may be instituted based upon experiences during the weekend. Such additions or amendments will be clearly stated at the morning drivers' meetings.
