  • Tire Transportation To The Nationals

Just wondering if there is anyone out there available to haul my tires, ( in those clean, pretty tire tote bags ) to Montreal in a truck if you are trailering your car....( Beers on me during bench racing ! ) My wife is coming along, and that takes up the spot where I put luggage, tools, etc.... Small car, no room... Anyone, anyone??? I will bring them to you this week....4 x 16"

4" x 16"? Are you running temporal spares at the Nationals?

-16 inch wheels? Didn't know they made rims in negative sizes.

Derek, if you can't get room in somebody's trailer, four tires will fit standing up across the back of the hatch with the carpet and spare tire removed. You have to strap the hatch down, and run with the windows open to vent the exhaust fumes, but it works.

Or, if you remove the rear seat, four tires may fit (but it'll be a point in weight reduction).

Craig, I guess I should have changed my user name at some point... If I was still driving the "GOLF VR6" , you are 100% correct, they would fit that way. That's the way I got them to all the events 2 years ago and it was sooooo easy. I now drive a Porsche, and there's no way on God's green earth that is happenin for me now... Suks to be me dude. ( Maybe if I put the tires in the way they fit and the wife in the back... ) shhhhh, that was supposed to be my inside voice !!

Derek, I was talking about the 944 ...

At the Solo2 Nationals, I had 8 tires, a 12x20 canopy, tools, luggage, etc., all in the caged 944. No wife, though.

i MIGHT take my trailer with me

in which case i can lug with me like 5 sets of wheels, ahahah

not 100% certain but i'm taking 3 extra sets of wheels with me to the nationals i'm still debating if i can fit everything in the car, email me at my work email (you should ahve it) and let me know, chances are i can help ya out.
                  set tire pressures to winning!
