What is a KLR ?

It seems a KLR is an ECU. Yes I have one for a 1987 944 Turbo. I wont sell the chips seperately. If you want a set of AUTOTHORITY chips for this car I also have them. Make an offer.

The KLR is a seperate computer to the DME (or ECU as some here are calling it). The KLR works in conjunction with the DME but it's main responsibility is to manage and interpret boost conditions and tell the DME what to do as far as the turbocharging is concerned. Basically.
The KLR is located in the same location as the DME, in the passenger footwell right beside the DME. If you have a KLR computer it will say on it "KLR" and then the part number. It is also slightly smaller than a DME.

I have the DME & KLR for sale. I assume the chips are in the KLR ?

I have the 2 stock chips, seperate from the boxes. The 2 boxes I have for sale ,DME&KLR, have uprated AUTOTHORITY chips in them.
