  • Championship winning Honda Civic #37

I've decided to sell one of my Civics. **NOW SOLD**
This car started it's life as a Honda Michelin Series car and was made into a race car from new - it has never been street driven. It has never been crashed, & has been METICULOUSLY maintained with all synthetic racing fluids changed after every event. Some of the noteworthy items that are in this car are:

K24 "Frankenstein" engine (K20 head, TSX K24 block)
    Toda racing cams
    Toda timing chain tensioner
    Skunk 2 70mm throttle body
    Skunk 2 racing intake manifold
    Hasport engine mounts
    Hondata K-Pro ecu
    Genuine Hytech racing header
6 speed transmission with 5.84 final drive
    Jas Motorsport limited slip differential
    lightened flywheelO
    "puck" style Bully clutch
    Hybrid Racing shifter cables
    Tein N1 adjustable racing suspension
5 bolt conversion front and rear
Goodridge stainless braided brake & clutch lines
    Kirkey aluminum road racing seat
    Panoramic rear view mirror
    Sparco suede racing steering wheel
    Programmable AutoMeter tachometer
    G-Force Pro 5 point harnesses
    Adjustable brake bias controller
    On-board Firebottle extinguisher system

Many more items and features too numerous to list.

Anything that has ever shown wear on this car has always been replaced with new parts. It is beautifully prepared and practically flawless. It weighs in at just over 2200 lbs.
This car raced in and podiumed in the Canadian Touring Car Championship and has even done Targa Newfoundland.
Last year this car won the championships in the GT-4 class of BOTH the GT Sprints and GT Challenge. It had a K20 engine in it then, but since the car was breaking out (running sub 1:36 at Mosport), we decided to move up to GT-3 and have installed the K24 and put bigger brakes and wheels/tires on the car. I have almost no time to enjoy this car & would like to see it go to a good home.
I plan to race it at the Labour Day Weekend race at Mosport if it's not sold by then, so if interested please come by and take a look & ask questions.
I am looking to sell this car for $20,000. I can offer the new owner a partial sponsorship in the way of employee pricing on any new Honda parts required to maintain the car.
The car in the picture is the identical twin of the car for sale.
Located in Ottawa, many pictures available if desired.

Fantastic cars that are beautifully prepared and meticulously maintained.

Lots of interest, but no cash in my jeans yet.

                          Congratulations.

Are they both gone? Did they stay local? Are you bringing something else out to play in 2012?
