  • FS - Gauging interest in a E36 Chumpcar

Car will have a mostly new re-skinned body, with new fenders and bumper, and rear quarter skins...15" Kirkey seat mounted, DOHC 1.8L motor with 5 speed.
I have a bunch of spares, diffs, motor parts, wheels...tonnes of goodies to go racing...it all goes.

Car is being prepped for paint, and is getting a shock and spring upgrade so it will be lowered still...car is really tidy and has nice lines, body will look mint with paint, there is still plastic protection on many of the panels.

$4,150 OBO (price will go up with paint and suspension upgrades)

Yes fully caged, probably over-caged for chump car specs in theory anyways...but there wont be a safer, lighter car even with the wicked cage.

Sorry pics to come, my bad I don't have them yet and I wanted to get it posted asap. Car is at the fabricators getting seat mounted and body finishing touches.

                    Re: E36 Chumpcar...needs to race!

                    $3975...coilovers installed...ready for paint!

Should be good for 500 points still...coilover setup installed is cheaper than stock, definetely not 2X rule...everything else is safety related.

Lets talk...to good to sit out for a year.

If the car is proven it will rent for much much higher value. Look on the chumpcar forums website for arrive and drive prices. For a good reliable car I would say 800-1500 / person depending on track etc.

Just an observation, but the 2x rule doesn't apply to suspension components. Coil-over kits are $20 a corner, and non-OEM shocks are $25 a corner. And your rear spoiler will add value as well. Just an FYI

Price drop, or I keep it and race it.

                            $3350 without coilovers
                            $3850 with coilovers
$4250 with coilovers and new paint (race car quality spray)

                            Tonnes of spares included.
