I've bought motors from TO Cycle Salvage and also Oshawa Cycle Salvage. Both were good to deal with.

There are also a couple on EBay, if you're brave.

Also, I have read that the FZ1000 is mounting-bolt compatible, although the head and cases are a bit bigger here & there.

I emailed every bike wrecker in ontario about 3 weeks ago looking for parts-not 1 reply.I won't bother with any of them again.

Wes I just saw an fz for sale cheap and I think it came with a spare engine,pretty sure it was on the gta site.I believe the guy was vintage racing it.

Neat bike btw,rode one when they were new and the engine was on par with my ninja 750-good fun for sure.Good luck.

Our Forumla 4 is currently grounded (no Calabogie ) as I detonated the last of the motors we have in a nice smoke show through corner 3 at Mosport!

Wes here's a guy in kitchener with one minus the exhaust and bodywork,might be a good parts bike if the engine's ok.He's asking $500 so that seems reasonable.
