  • Mustang GT

In the late 1970s there were two race car series sponsored by Bulova Watch Company in Canada, one open-wheeled and one closed-wheeled. I decided to build the Tamiya Mustang GT using some decals custom made by my friend Rod. I chose the car raced by the late George Maxwell as his son Scott currently races a Mustang GT. I didn't copy the car exactly, preferring to use some of the decals and sponsors. This was a fun build as the kit details are very good and the decals reminded me of being 25 again Enjoy

Howard, the Datsun I have owned since the mid 70s was George Maxwell's car before it became mine. I have a couple of pictures of the car
in it's "COUNTERWEIGHT" livery as raced by George.

Dave - I have several pictures that I got from Ed Moody. Here is my model in a showcase with a neat background. You should bring the car out to a race
