  • hitch mount tire carriers

I'm looking for pics of the tire carriers that fit in the hitch. I can't seem to find any.

are those even legal, given that they cover the rear license plate and possibly obscure the rear brake lights? Cool concept, but I wonder if they'll get you in hot water with "The Man".

I will add lights, and not obstruct the plate. I agree that both those issues should be dealt with. Thanks Moose, I Googled it like crazy, couldn't find a thing.

Thanks for the link, but I am a fabricator myself, and I was considering aluminum. My request for a link was to get fab ideas. I'm unsure how to safely and securely mount the wheels. Should I lug mount them or just a bar through the centre?
