  • Looking for Diff Expert

I've got a Quaife lsd and I'm looking for trusted technician to diagnose why it's developed alot of backlash suddenly and repair it.

Can anyone recommend a good technician. Preferably in the GTA.

    Thanks,
    Matt

I'd give a call to Andrew at AutoAnalyser Performance. You can find them in the sponsor section of this forum.

I believe that Quaife may have a lifetime warranty, we had one destroyed in a Volvo several times, and after repeated factory attempts to solve the problem, they refunded the purchase.

I would check with them first as I think all the internal parts are custom.

I've been told that Whitehead Performance has someone of staff with the knowledge to shim and measure a diff. A friend used him to install a new gearset into his skyline. I will likely be going to them to install my diff into my pumpkin in the next month or so.

Is it the ring and pinion that have the backlash or the actual quaife internal gears? Can't blame quaife if its the ring and pinion.
