  • 2017 Civic Type R Classification

Okay I am going to have this car sometime in June or July, wondering how it will be classed?

The car has a reported weight of 3000lbs makes 306hp and 296tq I believe.
    Tires are a 240 rating

If I had to guess on power to weight ratio it will be GT1?

    What does everyone else think?

I may run it in one event this year, just for fun!

Plug your info into the CCDB Grant. You'll find out what class.

This would make it the same class as new M2

Faster than a 2007 Corvette Z06 on Nurburgring by 6 seconds. Wonder if the R had slicks or street tires?

Grant; I can't wait to see you burn up the track.

Right on pace with a Cayman GT4... no slouch at all.
