How to get race licence

How would like to enter the touring car series , how do I go about getting a race licence in Ontario...is that is all that is required?

you join a CASC-OR affiliated club...

then you do the Perforamnce driving school

then you do the medical (I think)

then you pay the money ...

I'm sure there's more too it then that but those are the basic steps....

To get your racing license in order to race in the Ontario Touring GT Championship - the cheapest way to do it is to take the Motorsport Club of Ottawa's high performance driving school - a CASC-OR sanctioned school. The school costs $800 for non-members, or $725 for members of the Motorsport Club of Ottawa.

Successful graduates can apply for their novice race license, if you pass your medical, etc, through CASC-OR. Then you just need to get your racecar to the track!

I'm just wondering when you get your grade C license do you actually get a physical license? like a drivers license style card?
