  • Re: Requests for Base Car list updates here

Thanks for the BMW Sales Brochure info. I have updated the M4 DTC Weight info and added the Manual version. The change is slight in the Performance Index (a few decimal points).

The Handling Index remained at 60 for both E92 M3 and the F80 M3/M4 since we didn't see enough of a performance difference. If in future the F80 M3/M4 out performs, we can always bump up the HI (Note, each 5 point increase in HI is equivalent to 1.5 PIPs).

I have a 2016 BMW M2 on order that I will be running when it comes in and would like to have it classified. I have the following info from the BMW Canada websiteTechnical Data section. HP: 365hp @ 6500 rpm. Max Torque: 343lb-ft @ 1400 rpm. Curb Weight: 1590 kg/3505.4 lbs. The advertising also mentions an overboost function that raises peak torque to 369 lb-ft, although there are no specs for this in the Technical Data section. Thanks. Brad

Hi there, I have a friend who signed up for OTA (Thomas Holland) who tried to sign up for the forums but didn't get a response.

Anyways, he wants to get his 2003 325i classed but its not on the base car list.

From what I can find on the web, its 184hp/175ft-lbs, 3219lbs (curb weight).

Can you kindly add it to the base car list please?

The base car list has a 2001 325i which should be the same. BMW used the M54B25 engine (184hp/175ftlb US spec) in all 325i's from 2001-2006. If there's no significant difference between his 2003 325i and the 2001 325i (such as chassis/weight/suspension/gearing/aero) then he should be able to just use the 2001 325i.

Is there any reason you can't use the 2008 Evo X GSR/MR already currently in the database?

Are there any changes in the 2011 version such as engine tweaks, drivetrain changes, gearing, aerodynamics, suspension, etc. that the 2008 does not have?

Nope, just want the 2008 classification extended to 2008-2014 as the manufacturer provides identical specs for all years. It's all in the links I included.

In addition, I'd like 2015 added as well, with appropriate changes.

If I decide to enter an Evo of a year other than 2008, I'd like it to be properly classified in the database.

                          Hi there,

Would like the 2015 / 2016 Mazda MX5 base trim and RF trim added to the list.

Engine: 1998cc for both base and RF (retractable fastback)
                          Power: 155hp @ 6000 RPM, 148 lbs-ft @ 4,600 RPM for both trims
Weight (soft top trim / retractable fastback): 1,058kg / 1,114kg

I understand that soft tops require roll bars but what about retractable hard tops?

IIRC the retractable hard tops still require roll bars, and from what I've read there are no bars being made for the RF yet because of clearance issues.
